The Quest of Voltbreaker
An old electrician, a toaster and a hacker daughter have one night to outwit the AI that switched off the city.
A retired grid electrician versus the AI that switched off his city.
Tight, fast pixel-art platforming and huge boss fights against rogue city machines. Free to play in your browser — no download, no sign-up.

The lights went out in Ferropolis. OVERMIND, the AI that runs the city's power grid, decided that people were “losses in the grid”. It cut the power to the lower city and rewired every machine in town into its army: fridges that shoot ice, ovens that hide behind their doors, forklifts, bulldozers, surveillance cameras.
You play Grey, the electrician who built this grid thirty years ago. You have a welder turned arc pistol, a power pack on your back and your daughter Mira on the radio. Nine district guardians each carry a fragment of the key to OVERMIND's core — take them back, one district at a time, and bring the power home.
VOLTBREAKER is a classic 2D pixel-art platformer with a modern feel: forgiving controls, a double jump, wall jump, an invulnerable dash and a crouch, plus stars, best times and a workbench where you spend power cells on upgrades. The story is told over the radio while you play, so the action never stops.
VOLTBREAKER and The Quest of Voltbreaker share one cyberpunk city, one rogue AI and one stubborn old electrician. The Quest is the prequel — its last minute is the platformer's first minute. Play them in story order, or jump straight into the action.
