A dark noir horror visual novel about an inheritance you should not open
Everyone loved the old woman in room twelve. They found her in the morning, sitting on the bed facing the wall, both hands around her own throat. The doctor kept explaining that this does not happen — the fingers let go. Hers did not. And on the wall, at eye level, scratched with a fingernail: “21”.
A week later her parcel arrives: six photographs in which she is twenty-two, a note written in cipher, and an address. The house at that address has stood empty since 1993. The door is opened by an old man with everted eyelids.
You are an orderly. All your life you have cared for people who are leaving. You are offered the chance to care for someone who is coming back — and the final ingredient is delivered to the bare floor of an empty room. Alive.
